Crash Pads

Crash pads come in various sizes, weight, densities of foam, and shape.

These pads are designed by stunt companies and stunt coordinators to help a production keep their talent safe from injury. These pads are custom made from the foam used to the covering that protect it.

These crash pads can get expensive and have to be maintained in a controlled environment to keep the integrity of the pad strong. These pads are evaluated for rips, tears, and integrity before they are released to be rented to a production. Along with renting the pads the supervision of a Stunt Coordinator is ideal to make sure proper placement and safety measures are all accounted for.
