Viacom’s Nickelodeon channel does it again producing a live-action Sponge Bob Square Pants 20th anniversary episode. While it’s not the first time “Sponge Bob Square Pants” has mixed animation and live action, it is the first time key cast members — Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) — have acted together in live-action scenes.

Jonas created a dynamic creative environment bringing to life these cartoon charters that people have been watching for 20 years. Using the actors that play these characters voices was the icing on the cake. This showed “Sponge Bobs Square Pants” loyal fans the characters live. Jonas also created fun, cartoon action that looks dynamic but exciting as well.
